If you are planning to hike on this trail you must make a plan beforehand. Afternoon showers are quite frequent on the peak. It is located south of the Estes Park off the Highway 7.

•    Finch Lake

It is not a route that is traveled a lot. It is a best-suited trail for nature lovers and birders. At 10,000 feet, the marshy shoreline of the Finch Lake is perfect hiking destination for beautiful migrating and local bird species. You can start the hiking at the trailhead of the Finch Lake, and then follow the trail for about 4.5 miles, which is around 14,000 feet to the Finch Lake.  The trail is located south to the Highway 7 and in the wild basin area of the Rocky Mountain.
